I am a marketing and PR consultant with a team of skilled freelance designers to support me. I can work closely with your existing marketing team or act as an outsourced marketing & PR department.
Initially, I sit down with you to understand your view about your business and what you would like to achieve from it. I will ask you what has and has not worked in the past and why. Together we will agree a set of SMART objectives and I will then build a strategic marketing plan to meet them.
Implementation of the plan is carried out by me with the support of my freelance design team and we use imaginative design and creative ideas to deliver real definable and measurable marketing campaigns.
This is a clear and specific Action Marketing Programme with activities, outcomes and timelines clearly outlined, so you are fully aware of what is happening and how your objectives are being met.
Action marketing gets results
Marketing theory isn’t a mystery. There are numerous books telling how to do it and many free guides on the internet, including my own “How to write a marketing plan” on this site. The key to successful marketing is to create a detailed and very specific action plan with a coordinated group of activities, timelines and desired outcomes. The Action part is about actually getting on and doing it and that’s where I come in.
A recent “Linkedin” survey asked for the single most compelling reason to bring in a consultant. The winning answer was “to make sure that the job gets done.”
I will create a specific Action Marketing Programme for your business and make sure that it is implemented.
I get things done.
I have worked in education for many years and have successfully sold into schools, colleges and universities, with the SMART Board interactive whiteboard, TurningPoint assessment for learning tool, NEC projectors, digital signage and other educational products.
However, in order to ensure that we are up to date with current teaching practices and in touch with teachers, I have an Education Advisory Panel. I show the panel our clients’ products early and discuss new product ideas with them in order for them to give us useful feedback. The panel is chaired by me and consists of an LEA Advisory teacher, a full time head of year at a local comprehensive school, a full-time ICT training Consultant who visits schools every day to train teachers on ICT/AV equipment, a head of physics at a London Comprehensive and a Head teacher at a London primary school.
I have extensive knowledge and experience in the AV market and have worked for some of the leading manufacturers, distributors and systems integrators in the industry, including: Sony, NEC, Steljes, InFocus, Proxima, Toshiba, Fujitsu, Medium and Hitachi.
I have worked extensively in this wide sector and have in-depth knowledge and understanding of: motor cars, commercial vehicles, Formula One, motor racing and rallying, motorcycles, parts and accessories and classic cars. I am currently working with Isuzu Truck on their customer communications.
